Join Sharlene Cline and Marilynn Parrett in the HCOA Gallery for a wine tasting experience to support local arts. Participants will taste 3 varieties of Cabernet wine while learning about their histories, locations, and tasting notes, with paired appetizers and good company.

Desserts available through silent auction. All proceeds support HCOA’s programing and mission.

The Alaska SeaLife Center’s annual Anchorage fundraising event returns to the Anchorage Museum to benefit marine research, education, and conservation. Guests will savor a bountiful selection of chef-inspired hors d’oeuvres, connect with others who share a deep passion for Alaska’s oceans, and enjoy the excitement of silent and live auctions featuring unique Alaskan experiences and treasures. Come one come all to the Kachemak Ski for Women on February 8th at 11:00-12:30pm for skiing, costumes, and fun!

Kachemak Nordic Ski Club hosts this annual event at the Lookout Mountain Ski Trails on Ohlson Mountain Road, with proceeds benefiting the South Peninsula Haven House.

Race the 2.5km loop at 11:30am for the “Kachemak Fastest Female Skier” crown, or ski at a leisurely pace in elaborate costumes with friends. Prizes will be awarded for solo, paired, and group costumes. Register online in advance or in-person with a $15 suggested donation. Everyone is welcome (women, men, kids) but no dogs allowed.
