Kenai police arrested two men this weekend for kidnapping and assault. Bristol Bay could see fewer sockeye return next year. That’s according to the preliminary preseason forecast from the Fisheries Research Institute in Aleknagik. Some areas in Alaska have entirely wild salmon runs. But there’s also more than two dozen hatcheries around the state.
