It’s Friday, which means it’s time for our weekly legislative call-in with Sen. Gary Stevens. KBBI’s Aaron Bolton spoke with Stevens earlier this week about how the Legislature is handling proposed cuts to Medicaid, the state’s reimbursement program for school construction and talk in the Senate about changing the Permanent Fund dividend formula.

It’s Friday, which means it’s time for our weekly legislative call-in with Sen. Gary Stevens. KBBI’s Aaron Bolton spoke with the senator about the latest in Juneau earlier this week.

Sen. Gary Stevens spoke with KBBI’s Renee Gross on Thursday afternoon about the job outlook under Gov. Mike Dunleavy's proposed spending plan and about funding to the University of Alaska.

Stevens will be hosting two local town hall meetings on Friday, March 15. One will be at Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center from noon-2:00 p.m., and the other will be from 4-5:30 p.m. at Chapman School.
