This summer, armed with a new grant, the city of Soldotna's Chamber of Commerce is hosting 13 concerts along the Kenai River featuring bands from Alaska and beyond; and the search is underway in Seward for a new city manager, after current manager Janette Bower took a job at the City of Soldotna.
