Low birth rates are likely contributing to the decline in the population of beluga whales in Cook Inlet, according to a study published this week; one man on the Kenai Peninsula credits his nationally ranked mullet to learning to care less and embrace the flow; and for about six months, the state of Alaska has been distributing a stronger brand of naloxone called Kloxxado.
