Addiction specialists say they’ve begun seeing fentanyl combined with a sedative that puts people using drugs on the Kenai Peninsula at a higher risk of overdose, and heat pumps are becoming a viable option for heating homes on the Lower Kenai Peninsula, offering a cleaner, more efficient and sometimes cheaper alternative to traditional systems.
