Call for Gallery Proposals
Applications are open for exhibiting in the Homer Council on the Arts gallery! HCOA is currently accepting proposals for openings in 2027. Applications for the HCOA gallery will automatically be considered for the South Peninsula Hospital gallery as well.
Proposals for HCOA Gallery Exhibits must be completed by 11:59pm on September 30th, 2026. Artists in all media are invited to apply, with preference going to Alaskan artists and priority to those residing on the Kenai Peninsula.

The Seward State Parks Citizen Advisory Board welcomes the public to help guide the future of Seward area state parks. The Board meets on the third Wednesday from September to November, January to April from 5:30-7:30 pm at the AVTEC Culinary Academy third floor, alley entrance. No meeting in December

Seward's He Will Provide Food Pantry is open every Thursday from 3pm to 6pm. He Will Provide is located at 238 5th Ave in the basement of the City Annex building. The entrance is in the back. This is an emergency assistance food pantry.He Will Provide will be open Tuesday, November 21st from 3 to 6. He Will Provide will not be open on Thursday the 23rd. Happy Thanksgiving!
Community Jam Sessions in the HCOA gallery!
Thursdays from 6:30-9:00pm, grab an instrument and make music with us!Facilitated by Cathy Stingley (fiddle), Community Jam Sessions are open to all instruments and abilities. Bring your instrument, your music, and an open mind! Session will explore a range of genres based on attendees' interest. Light refreshments available.
