Homer Harbor receives federal grant to help fund replacement of harbor Float System 4
Homer Harbor has one of seven projects in the state of Alaska that the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has allocated $115.4 million to the state of Alaska to bolster and reinforce port infrastructure. The city of Homer will spend $11.2 million on the Homer Port Coastal Freight Project that will fund permitting and replacement of a float system in the Homer harbor.
