Encouraging citizen participation in municipal government is the goal of this week's Coffee Table. Guests: Former Homer City Council Member Barbara Howard, City Manager Katie Koester and Mayor Bryan Zac lead the discussion on the structure of the City of Homer and its various departments and commissions.

Kathleen Gustafson came to Homer in 1999 and has been involved with KBBI since 2002. She is the producer and host of the weekly public affairs call-in show, Coffee Table and produces special projects for the station. Kathleen is also the Director of Youth Theater at Pier One Theatre in Homer and a commercial fisher.
