This is an open time to come walk or run indoors and not have to worry about the conditions outside. We will have background music playing over the speakers. Come get your stroll on!
Open to adults & teens (12+) Mon-Fri from 8:30-9:30am and Mon-Fri from 11:45am-12:45pm. *Our Monday afternoon class will be FREE throughout the year as well! (sponsored by & thanks to SPH!)*

We are so excited to have Katie Jo at the SPARC teaching a HIGH INTENSITY Zumba class Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm. This class is available to adults & high schoolers (14+) for $7.00 ($4 for SPARC & $3 for instructor). Hope to see you there!
Zumba is a workout that mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a lot of fun.

Come play duplicate bridge with local bridge players. This is an ACBL event. All are welcome. Call or email for more information.
This class is a Pilates & strength hybrid class, combining traditional lifts using light/moderate weights with Pilate movements, for a low impact, high intensity workout. Class is $4 pp, beginner friendly, age 14+ & please wear comfortable attire. Paige Jones is the instructor.

The Alaska Center for Resource Families (ACRF) invites individuals and families across Alaska to a supportive orientation for those interested in becoming resource parents.
Orientation is the first step to becoming a foster or adoptive parent in Alaska. Join us for a presentation about becoming a foster parent for the Office of Children’s Services. Licensing staff will be in attendance to answer questions.
The orientation will:
Explain the mission and function of the Office of Children’s Services (OCS)Define the term “resource family”Outline the steps to become licensedReview the application processClarify available supports
Resource family orientation is held over Zoom.
