Open to adults & teens (12+) Tues-Fri from 8:30-9:30am and Tues-Fri from 11:45am-12:45pm. Cost is $4.00 per session. (It is also okay to bring a child in a stroller to walk)

Call for Performance: 2025 Nutcracker Faire
HCOA is seeking performers to entertain shoppers at the 2025 Nutcracker Faire. If you are a solo musician, ensemble, or other type of performer and are interested in performing in the Homer High School Commons stage during the Nutcracker Faire, please fill out a submission form below.
Some things to know about this call for performance:
The Nutcracker Faire is on Saturday, December 6th from 11 am -7:30 pm and Sunday, December 7th from 12pm-5pmPerformers will be given one hour time spots.This is a family friendly event, so all performances must be clean and suitable for children.Submission form closes on Saturday, December 1st
Fun With 5x6x7, a community show of small works at the Homer Council on the Arts Gallery on 10/7 from 5-7pm! This open call group show features over 100 artworks from artists across Alaska showcasing a variety of mediums and styles, just in time for holiday gift giving.

Free Weekly Teen Art Space is back, Hosted by Drue Smith, artist & licensed clinical therapist who specializes in art, and art educator Lynn Marie Naden. Learn the Mariners' art of scrimshaw with naturalist and artist Conrad Field. The class, which starts January 12, meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for 4 & 1/2 weeks at Kachemak Bay Campus. The fee is $150, which includes supplies. The curriculum will guide students through carving techniques on a variety of materials, ending with a mounted piece of art on bone or antler. Badminton is continuing at the SPARC on Wednesdays from 5:45-6:45pm. Open to all ages (8 yo & up allowed w/ parents' permission & signing of SPARC waiver). The cost is $4 for everyone.

Bingo hosted by the Homer Emblem Club #350. Must be 19 years old to play by Alaska State law.
We play 10 bingo games and give out door prizes.There are hot dogs, soda and chips available for purchase.
