HIP Check - Come meet some of the team behind the Homer Independent Press, your weekly online newspaper. Thursday, April 9, 11am to 1pm at The Bagel Shop, 3745 East End Road. Bring your comments and questions. HIP folks will be on hand to listen and chat.
This is an open time to come walk or run indoors and not have to worry about the conditions outside. We will have background music playing over the speakers. Come get your stroll on!

Homer Drawdown is a local grassroots community group working to build resilience, sequester carbon, and lower emissions. The current project aims to reduce food and material waste on the peninsula. This meeting will move forward with the projects we have been planning. The meeting is open to the public, April 7th at Kachemak Bay Campus.
