Homer Drawdown is making a game plan to implement the elements of our waste stream solution. We’ve narrowed down our project ideas, it’s time to break into working groups and prepare to take action! The work will be a combination of our top two solutions, both of which fall under the umbrella of reducing wasted food and materials that needlessly end up in our landfill.
All are welcome, please join us to help roll these ideas into action for our community. The meeting will be January 20th, come any time after 5:30pm to share a soup supper, and our meeting will kick off at 6pm.
The Mud Bay Bards will be offering Shakespeare’s Sonnet-a-Day program, partnered with KBBI, for the month of February! This program by the Mud Bay Bards brings community voices to the radio reading the sonnets of William Shakespeare. Each sonnet, and reader, gets a day in the limelight, airing once in the morning, and once in the evening.
Sonnet Recording Session:We invite you to record a sonnet! At this session, Mud Bay Bards Chair Sarah Brewer will assist you in selecting a sonnet. You will have time to practice reading through it to get comfortable and then sound engineer Kathleen Gustafson will record your reading.
