Pier One Theatre presentsA live reading and sing-along of"Scrooge’s Christmas" by Ken Jones.
In this adaption of Charles Dickens’ classic tale, A Christmas Carol, a group of actors portray all the characters of this Christmas tradition. The ensemble provides the songs and sounds as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is confronted by the Spirits of Past, Present and Future. Join us in this festive classic brought to life on the Porcupine stage.

Have you been Harvesting Kindness? The Pratt Museum is collecting nonperishable food items in support of the Homer Food Pantry's Harvesting Kindness fall canned and nonperishable food drive. Bring one food item per person to receive discounted admission to the Pratt Museum - $10 per adult and $5 per child age 6-12. Each visitor who contributes a food item will also be entered to win a Family Level Membership to the Pratt Museum. Come on in anytime Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 4pm. The Food Drive runs through December 20.

The 2025 Homer Christmas Extravaganza hits The Porcupine Theater on December 20, and it is already shaping up to be the brightest, most joy filled holiday celebration in town. If you are looking for a night packed with Christmas spirit, community warmth, and pure hometown magic, this is the one to circle on your calendar.
Pika Pika Bento will be serving delectable delights, with beer and wine flowing throughout the evening. The stage lineup is stacked with Christopher Kincaid and his band of merry elves, the Highly Strung String Band, Kris and the Kringles, musical selections from Homer Opus, and a dramatic, crowd pleasing reading of The Night Before Christmas from thespian Peter Norton.
Come ready to celebrate. Dress in your most festive holiday outfit for a chance to win the Best Dressed in Holiday Spirit award, and get ready for waves of excitement as door prizes and surprises pop up all night long. The whole evening is set to be overflowing with fun, laughter, and the kind of festive atmosphere people talk about long after it is over.
Every bit of the profit goes directly to South Peninsula Behavioral Health Services’ Teen Community Resource Center, supporting important work for youth right here in our community.
