National Recovery Month

Community members gathered at WKFL Park in Homer last Saturday for a candlelight vigil to honor those who died from opioid overdose. The event is part of a statewide effort to reduce stigma around substance use disorder and foster recovery.

"All Things Recovery" is gearing up for this year’s Recovery Month, a dedicated time to celebrate and support the nation's efforts in addiction recovery.

This week’s Coffee Table on KBBI coincided with International Overdose Awareness Day and marks the beginning of National Recovery Month. Representatives from the All Things Recovery Coalition and Homer Medical Center were guests on Wednesday morning’s show.
