COVID Brief: Thurs, April 15 - Vaccine available by appointment and walk-in this Saturday

The Center for Disease Control has removed the Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) vaccine from its list of available vaccines due to six adverse reactions in the United States, one of which resulted in death.

This morning on The COVID-19 Brief, Public Health Nurse Mary Darbonne and Derotha Ferraro from South Peninsula Hospital talk about the safety and effectiveness of all available vaccines and about upcoming opportunities for Pfizer and Moderna vaccine.

Also, Jenny Carroll - Information Officer for the City of Homer and Pegge Erkeneff from the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District answer questions from the listeners.
