We're excited to offer this Chair Mobility & Stretching class to our schedule! This class will be 30-min long on Mondays & Fridays from 1-1:30pm and the cost is $2 to the instructor (Maria or Rowan).

Chair yoga classes typically target those with physical disabilities or aging men/women who find a typical yoga session too challenging. It is also a great form of yoga for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on a gentle practice.

The Anchor Point Food Pantry Food Line is open on Fridays from 4-6pm with a food line and a meal.We provide a weekly food line and meals, monthly TEFAP commodities, holiday food boxes, summer produce, hungry kids' weekend meal packs and a kids' summer lunch bag program. Futsal is an exciting, fast paced, FIFA recognized indoor soccer game played on a hard surface. Teams are comprised of 5 players (4-field+keeper).

Bunnell Arts by Air presents guitarist Bill White in concert at Bunnell Street Arts Center and broadcast live on KBBI AM 890 on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at 7pm. Tickets available at Bunnell. In-person audience must be seated by 6:45pm.
Dr. Bill White is a classical guitarist and composer based in Homer, Alaska. Originally from Nampa, Idaho, Bill has appeared as soloist and chamber musician across the country and has released two albums: Moderno non Troppo, a selection of modern-but-not-too-modern works for solo guitar, and Echoes, a collection of works for viola and guitar recorded with his wife Elizabeth. As a composer, Bill’s works focus on texture and processes, often for large ensembles of similar instruments.
Recent commissions include Sound Spaces for mixed electric and classical guitars for the Oh My Ears! festival in Phoenix, Arizona and Bowing, Breaking for strings, written for Homer OPUS. Bill holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Arizona State University where he studied with Jiji Kim. Other teachers include Marc Teicholz, Nicholas Ciraldo, Lily Afshar, and James Reid.
We're SO EXCITED to be able to continue our Teen Nights at the SPARC every Friday from 8-10:30pm. This is a FREE night for our Homer teens (7th-12th grade) to hang out in a safe, drug-free environment. Kids have access to all our equipment, including our new ping-pong table. Pizza & drinks will be provided. The last class for the '25/'26 school year will be on Fri. 4/24!

If you would like to host a Teen Night evening, please fill out the FORM at sparchomer.org/forms/. Some examples of activities that could take place would be basketball, dodgeball, ping pong, kickball, volleyball, nerf party, cornhole (we have 1 set), floor hockey (we have soft pucks & 10 sticks), etc.

The City of Homer is accepting public comment on the draft Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) for the Homer Education and Recreation Complex (HERC). This is an open playgroup for parents/guardians to bring their young ones* to a great big open space and let them run around and play. Bring your own toys or play with what SPARC has provided (no pedal bikes w/ brakes allowed at this time, only strider bikes & scooters). This class is available Mondays, Wednesdays & Saturdays from 10-11:30am (unless a special event interferes). Cost is $4.00 per child.* This means toddlers not in kindergarten, or not of school-age yet (~5 yrs. old & younger) -- older siblings are allowed but need to be careful of the littles!
