Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a ball over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports: the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules somewhat similar to tennis, with several modifications. Pickleball was invented in the mid 1960s as a children's backyard game.

When hunger weighs heavily, it’s hard to focus, hard to thrive, and hard to stay well. At the Anchor Point Food Pantry, we meet that need with empathy, respect, and cheerful hearts—because no one should have to face hunger alone. We provide a weekly food line and meals, monthly TEFAP commodities, holiday food boxes, summer produce, hungry kids' weekend meal packs and a kids' summer lunch bag program. This is a fabulous introductory workout class available to all ages & sizes! It will be based on basic form and functional movements that will progress into HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) using body weight and minimal equipment. Participants will work at their own pace and level. Led by instructor Heidi Cox. Cost of this class is $4.00 and is scheduled for Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm. *Kids wanting to participate in the class are free!*
(Note from Heidi about bringing Children and Safety: The exercise equipment is available to use for ADULTS ONLY (and older children who are participating in the workout with their parents). You may bring small children, but they may NOT play with the mats, bands, etc. for their safety. Kiddos running between the active participants is NOT allowed for both the safety of the adult and child. All toys MUST be kept in front of the floor in the green space. My goal for Booty Camp is to give all exercising participants, including kiddos, a fun and safe place to get healthy activity. SAFETY IS TOP PRIORITY!)
