Come play soccer, shoot hoops, toss a ball, ride a scooter, play ping pong, or bring a (clean) scooter or strider bike to ride around on, and just be active! This is your time to do what you’d like in an open environment. This class is $4.00 pp and is open to all ages (unaccompanied minors must be at least in 3rd grade w/ parents' permission & signing of SPARC waiver).
Sorry, NO roller skates, skateboards, or pedal bikes w/ brakes are allowed at this time.
***Please send your child with a pair of clean indoor shoes to change into (in the entryway). Thank you for helping to keep our new floor looking good!***
When hunger weighs heavily, it’s hard to focus, hard to thrive, and hard to stay well. At the Anchor Point Food Pantry, we meet that need with empathy, respect, and cheerful hearts—because no one should have to face hunger alone. We provide a weekly food line and meals, monthly TEFAP commodities, holiday food boxes, summer produce, hungry kids' weekend meal packs and a kids' summer lunch bag program. Phone: 907-299-8437 - email: apfp.266@gmail.com // If you consider donating, thank you! This helps!
This is a fabulous introductory workout class available to all ages & sizes! It will be based on basic form and functional movements that will progress into HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) using body weight and minimal equipment. Participants will work at their own pace and level. Led by instructor Heidi Cox. Cost of this class is $4.00 and is scheduled for Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm. *Kids wanting to participate in the class are free!*
(Note from Heidi about bringing Children and Safety: The exercise equipment is available to use for ADULTS ONLY (and older children who are participating in the workout with their parents). You may bring small children, but they may NOT play with the mats, bands, etc. for their safety. Kiddos running between the active participants is NOT allowed for both the safety of the adult and child. All toys MUST be kept in front of the floor in the green space. My goal for Booty Camp is to give all exercising participants, including kiddos, a fun and safe place to get healthy activity. SAFETY IS TOP PRIORITY!)
***Please bring a pair of clean indoor shoes for you & your child to change into (in the entryway). Thank you for helping to keep our new floor looking good!***
