Join us on Saturday May 11, 2024 for our annual Spring Book and Plant Sale from 10-6 pm at the Homer Public Library. Find your next collection of treasured books at discount prices from an assortment of gently used books including: books for kids, YA, fiction, non-fiction, birds, science, cookbooks, art, travel and more. Choose from a wide variety of healthy house plants and a few garden varieties to green up your home or gift to a friend.
All proceeds benefit Friends of the Homer Public Library whose mission is to provide volunteer support for library programs and services, to raise funds that enrich the library experience, and to promote the use and enjoyment of the library.

We are now accepting good quality book donations at the library. Please NO textbooks, magazines, DVDs, CDs or books that are soiled or damaged. Please call the library ahead of time to schedule large book donations (several boxes) at 235-3180.

Potted plant donations may be dropped off at the Library on May 9th and 10th. Now is the time to re-pot or plant your starts/plant cuttings.
