Sneak Preview - Loved & Lost memorial bench

Sneak Preview - Loved & Lost memorial bench

For the past year, Homer artist Brad Hughes has been creating the Loved & Lost memorial bench. Intended to honor missing community member Anesha "Duffy" Murnane and to raise awareness to the issue of missing individuals everywhere, the bench features 12 forms on two sides that have been sculpted in clay and then cast in cement. The Missing side is now completed and can be viewed outside Ulmer's Drug & Hardware through early June. Everyone is invited to the Duffy Memorial and Bench Dedication potluck to be held at the Homer Public library on Sunday, June 12, 1pm.
