Opening Gala for Alaska Word Arts Festival
The opening gala event for the 5th annual Alaska World Arts Festival is today, Thursday, September 7th, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Homer Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center located at 201 Sterling Hwy, Homer, AK 99603. There will be complimentary local food and beverages, live music, acrobatics, and more as Homer celebrates this community as a cultural center that has inspired world-class artists for over 50 years.
