Are the backroads of Bomont, Indiana, enough to help a kid from Chicago settle into a new life?

The student musicians of Homer High invite you to come find out in Footloose! the Musical!

In this production, we meet and follow Ren McCormack as he learns the ins and outs of a new high school, manages expectations of parents and loved ones, and finds out that here, dancing is a crime! This incredible tale of loss, grief, and recovery is punctuated by familiar hits of the 1980's, soaring ballads, and the overarching lesson about the value of learning to work together in order to help a community move forward.

While we welcome all theater-goers, it is appropriate to note that there is some strong language as well as spoken reference to alcohol. Because of this, parental guidance is suggested for this production.

Performances will be March 19 and 20 at 7PM, and March 21 at 3PM and 7PM in the Homer High School Mariner Theatre, located at 600 E. Fairview Ave. in Homer, AK. Admission is $15 for General Admission, $12 for Seniors, $10 for Students, and $40 for Families. Tickets are available at The Homer Bookstore or at the door, cash or check only. All proceeds benefit the Homer High School Choir Program.
