The story follows the lives of Addie Moore and Louis Waters, two widowed neighbors who have lived next to each other for years but have had little contact. One day, Addie pays Louis an unexpected visit and proposes that they spend their nights together talking, in order to alleviate their loneliness. As they begin to share their lives with each other, a real romance blossoms. The film explores themes of loneliness, loss, and connection through the performances of Jane Fonda and Robert Redford, who play the main characters. Admission by donation!
