Altruist Relief Kitchen (ARK) for Turkey
Community soup lunch fundraiser 12-2pm Friday, February 24 at the Homer United Methodist Church. Proceeds help provide nutritious, hot meals for the survivors of Turkey's earthquake, using a field kitchen designed by Homer’s own Lucas Wilcox, founder of Altruist Relief Kitchen. The soup lunch will be held downstairs at the Homer United Methodist Church 770 East End Road this Friday, February 24th from noon-2pm.

Suggested donation $15. Fundraising goal this week $8000.

How to Donate to the Altruist Relief Kitchen project for emergency relief in Turkey
This is a critical time for gaining more sponsorship on the ground in Turkey. Thank you for your support in this worthy project. The short-term project goal is $8000 to get the field kitchen & stove manufactured (in Turkey), and it will work similarly to the one that is already in operating in Ukraine. For logistical reasons, the target date to jump-start this proven of Sunday, February 26 to get the Turkey field kitchen in place, which will lead to hot, nutritious food, safe water, emergency shelter, and warmth.
