Bunnell presents Sunrise Sjoeberg in concert at Bunnell broadcast live on KBBI AM890 Friday, November 17th, at 7pm. Come join our live studio audience! In-person audiences must be seated at 6:45 for the show to go on air at 7pm.

“I learned to sing on my mother’s knee. Growing up in a family that sang in harmony, I have always loved making music with others. Through the years, I have collaborated in the creation of multiple shows, mostly at Bunnell Street Arts Center, including eclectic Christmas concerts that were dove-tailed with the existing art shows; and then, the ongoing “On the Wing” Shorebird events which included local poets.

The program will be originals that chronicle a lifetime. Others will be sung in remembrance of people like Hobo Jim and other Homer friends. My songs will be accompanied by guitar, piano and on Zalimba.”
Bunnell Street Arts Center has supported my music for many years. I am grateful for the opportunity to play songs from my past and for the future.

Bunnell Arts by Air began as a Covid-relief program in 2020 funded by the Alaska Community Foundation to support musicians and connect community at a time when concerts and gatherings of all kinds were not possible. The program continued with ACF AKCanDo and Homer Foundation funding in 2021-2022.
