Plane Crash

Two people died in a plane crash on the Kenai Peninsula, and one died in a crash in a Wasilla neighborhood.

The National Transportation Safety Board released a preliminary report detailing initial details around the Dec. 8 plane crash near Anchor Point.

The settlement comes more than two years after Rep. Gary Knopp’s private plane collided with a charter plane, killing him and the four passengers, guide and pilot aboard.
