The cello and bass duo Low and Lower performed at Islands and Ocean visitor center on January 15. Cellist Brooks Whitehouse and bassist Paul Sharpe performed a range of pieces from familiar classics to an original work by Sharpe inspired by a kayaking trip in Kachemak Bay; they were joined for two songs by their former student, Homer's own Emily Riedel.
Low and Lower were brought to Homer by the Homer Youth String Orchestra Club.
