Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point are seeking help finding someone who may have stolen fuel from an area generator.

According to an online dispatch, Andrew Barker, 21, of Anchor Point, called officers to report the theft on Sunday, April 2. He told them the last time he got fuel was on March 22. Sometime over the last two weeks, he reportedly lost a total of 30 gallons from his 55-gallon tank.

Troopers estimate the cost of the missing fuel at less than $250 dollars.

They are asking anyone with information to contact the local post at 907-262-4453.
