Homer to Hold 'Love for Orlando' Gathering

A group of people in Homer feeling affected by the events in Orlando are planning a public event Friday.  The gathering, called Love for Orlando, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at W-K-F-L park. KBBI News Director, Daysha Eaton, talks with one of the organizers, Homer resident Rachel Romberg.

Daysha Eaton holds a B.A. from Evergreen State College, and a M.A. from the University of Southern California. Daysha got her start in radio at Seattle public radio stations, KPLU and KUOW. Before coming to KBBI, she was the News Director at KYUK in Bethel. She has also worked as the Southcentral Reporter for KSKA in Anchorage.
