Coffee Table: Cannabis Regulation

This week on KBBI’s public affairs program, The Coffee Table, we discuss marijuana regulation. We talked with: Homer City Council Member, David Lewis who has been outspoken about his desire to regulate commercial Cannabis and Council Member Gus Van Dyke who recently introduced a city ordinance that would ban all commercial cannabis activity in Homer. They discussed marijuana ordinances under consideration by Homer City Council. Homer Police Chief, Mark Robl, alaso explained in a prerecorded interview, how the will work during the transition to legal commercial cannabis cultivation in the state. 

Daysha Eaton holds a B.A. from Evergreen State College, and a M.A. from the University of Southern California. Daysha got her start in radio at Seattle public radio stations, KPLU and KUOW. Before coming to KBBI, she was the News Director at KYUK in Bethel. She has also worked as the Southcentral Reporter for KSKA in Anchorage.
