Wellness Wednesday: Emergency Response in Public: What to Do Before Help Arrives
Join Frank Klima, RN, Emergency Services Supervisor at South Peninsula Hospital, for a practical and empowering session on responding to emergency situations in public settings. This presentation will cover how to assist someone who has fallen, basic first aid and CPR awareness, Stop the Bleed principles, and guidance on when and how to call 911. Designed for community members of all backgrounds, this session will help participants feel more confident and prepared to act in critical moments while waiting for emergency responders to arrive.
After, we’ll have an hour of Integral Yoga led by Kali Tanaya. As always, free soup and bread will be provided, and all are welcome!
