Weekly “3D” Films Series Tuesday evenings at Pratt Museum and Park

Tuesday March 7: "3D" Film Series at Pratt: “Purely Alaskan Iditarod”
Film and Discussion 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Join us for Diving Deep into Discussions “3D” film series! Films relevant to the Kachemak Bay region will be featured and participants are invited to discuss the topics together with our Director of Lifelong Learning Experiences.

Film: Purely Alaskan Iditarod is a 2hr film (2010) about the history of the 1,000 mile long dog-sled race from Willow to Nome, featuring interviews with participants. The film will end by 9:10 pm, followed by a brief discussion about the film, the topic, and the related thoughts of viewers, with a plan to wrap it up by 9:30.

When: Tues. March 7th at 7:00 pm

Who: Open to the public. Local mushers who have participated in and finished the Iditarod race are likely to attend this event!

Cost: Free! Donations are appreciated.

Where: Pratt Museum in the Downstairs Classroom Gallery. Please access the classroom directly from the lower South Parking Area. The museum’s main entrance will not be used for this event and there will be no access to exhibits on the upper floor.
