Pier One Theatre presents
The "Ten-Minute Play Festival" Kick-off!

We are excited about this brand new festival! We hope to stage around 8 new plays with submissions gathered from both experienced and novice playwrights. These plays will be selected by a handful of directors each taking on 1 - 2 plays, with a company of actors each playing several roles.

Interested directors and writers are encouraged to attend the kick-off to get your ideas flowing! All are welcome. In order to encourage new works for submission, playwright Kate Rich will be on hand to discuss some basic principles of crafting a ten-minute play. No experience with playwriting is required!
Play submissions are due to Pier One on June 15, 2024.
An audition date for actors is TBD.
Performances to be held in the last half of August 2024.
