On Saturday, December 2 from noon to 4 p.m. Bunnell Street Arts Center’s December exhibiting artist, Carol Lambert will teach a workshop on monotype printmaking at Kachemak Bay Campus.

Monotype is a way to make one-of-a-kind prints using ink, paper, and a press. Lambert will demonstrate and teach a method that involves painting with ink on a plate and then printing the image. Participants will learn to create areas of color, shape, and detail using a variety of tools.

This workshop was created through the Bunnell Street Arts Center’s HEART residency program which makes possible the accessible workshop fees for students aged 16 through 20 at $15 each, and general admission at $30 per person.
