HoWL DIRTBAG Clean-Up Week
HoWL DIRTBAG Clean-Up Week
Join HoWL to help clean up Homer! DiRtBaG Clean-Up Week is a litter clean-up for youth and families, and youth participants can earn scholarships for HoWL wilderness programs, complete service hours, and win prizes and special awards for categories such as Most Trash, Dirtiest DiRtBaG or Microtrash Master. To participate, meet us at Bishops Beach on Monday-Friday from 3:30 to 5:30, or from 4:15-5:30. On Saturday, April 25, we will meet from 11-2 to pick up trash at Bishop's Beach, and celebrate everyone's hard work with a pizza party, prizes and awards. Youth can participate with family members or can attend by themselves and join a HoWL-supervised crew.
