On Saturday, youth and families are invited to celebrate the end of HoWL's DiRtBaG Clean-Up Week, an annual litter pick-up. This event celebrates the youth participants who have helped steward the community through Clean-Up Week, and is an opportunity for youth to earn scholarships for HoWL programs and win DiRtBaG awards for special effort or enthusiasm during the clean-up. At 11:00 we will start with picking up trash around Bishops Beach, followed by a provided lunch and DiRtBaG awards. The HoWL DiRtBaG event also supports HoWL's need-based scholarship program, which helps provide expedition opportunities for all youth excited to HoWL.
