People Powered Party - A Closing Celebration of Homer Drawdown’s Non-Motorized Transportation Solution.
We want to celebrate and showcase all that we’ve done to improve and bring attention to our community walking and biking needs through this project. Please join us around a warm fire for a salmon BBQ and potluck, volunteer recognition, and a discussion around what we’ve accomplished and what's to come.
All are welcome to this kid friendly event. We encourage you to leave your car at home or work and bike or walk to the beach (prizes for the furthest non-motorized travelers!). Salmon provided, if you can, bring a side to share or something to grill. Extra extra - for some non-motorized fun, during the event we will be holding slow bike races, the last one to finish wins!
