Guided Snowshoeing at Inspiration Ridge Preserve
Guided Snowshoeing at Inspiration Ridge Preserve
Inspiration Ridge Preserve encompasses 693 acres of critical wildlife habitat, and is a stunning mosaic of forest, bogs, meadows, ponds, and creeks. This time of year, the Preserve offers an amazing opportunity to explore the winter ecology of the boreal-transition forest. Our trained naturalist will lead you on a guided snowshoe hike through the pristine winter landscape, where you can learn about the history of IRP, the amazing animals that utilize this habitat and wildlife corridor, and the unique natural history of the area.
Hikes are about 1.5 hours in length and are limited to 10 people. Snowshoes are provided, but you can use your own if you prefer.
Dogs are NOT allowed on the trails at IRP. Leave your furry friends at home please!
