Free workshop - Berry Shrub Propagation
Free workshop - Berry Shrub Propagation
This will be a fun, hands-on FREE event for the whole family. Learn how to select, trim, and store cuttings from berry shrubs, and how to care for them until it's time to grow roots. This is a great way to make lots of berry bushes out of cuttings from existing established plants! (it also works with native and ornamental shrubs) Led by Matt Iverson and brought to you by Homer Soil and Water Conservation District and the USDA-NRCS Homer, AK field office. Take cuttings of berry bushes home to plant! No registration is necessary. We will begin at the KPC Kachemak Bay Campus and then move to a nearby black currant and gooseberry patch. Please dress for the weather. For more info email monica@homerswcd.org or call 907-235-8177 ext 5 This is session 7 of the 2022 KNOW YOUR LAND Series of Talks.
