We'll hear from Allison Gaylord, Homer area peony farmer and also a founding member of the Alaska Beauty Peony Co-op., who has aquired a wealth of experpience with different drip irrigation systems for her hillside farm. Allison will share pictures and stories from her journey building this critical infrastructure on her farm, and the ways she has utilized USDA-NRCS programs to dial-in the irrigation setup and help pay for it. She's also share tips for fertigating - or applying fertilizer through a drip irrigation system. Come hear what she's learned from experience here on the southern Kenai Peninsula.
