East Homer Spit CoastWalk Clean-Up and Tidepooling

East Homer Spit CoastWalk Clean-Up and Tidepooling

While cleaning our beaches, CoastWalk also serves as an ecological snapshot documenting annual changes in Kachemak Bay. This is our 40th year doing this work! Join us on Saturday, September 30th as we explore both facets of CoastWalk with a clean-up and guided tidepooling!

This event starts and ends at the Water Trail Pavilion on the Homer Spit. From 9:00-10:30am we'll have a guided tidepooling session with our CACS Naturalists, then from 10:30am-12:00pm we'll be working to clean up marine debris and keep that section of beach beautiful!

To register, please contact Henry at 907-235-6741 or henry@akcoastalstudies.org. Or visit our Headquarters at 708 Smokey Bay Way in Homer! We'll see you out there!
