Community Stakeholder Meeting - Lifespan Victims of Violence

What: Community members are invited to contribute input and advocate for children, adults, and elderly victims of violence.

Why: Robust community participation is valued by the University of Alaska College of Health School of Nursing. The objective is to identify local specific needs, resources, and receive suggestions that will tailor UAA training.

Who Should Attend: School staff, elderly care facility staff, emergency services and healthcare personnel, justice and legal community, victim advocates, City and Tribal government leadership and staff.

Funding for UAA travel and outreach is made possible through a grant awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, a component of the Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs.
