Zak Discusses Hopes for Term as Mayor

Bryan Zak was elected Mayor of Homer during the regular municipal election on Oct. 4 and sworn into office at the Oct. 10 City Council meeting. He will serve a two-year term. KBBI News Director, Daysha Eaton talks with Zak about his hopes for his term as mayor.

Mayor Zak will participate in the next regular Homer City Council meeting on Monday, Oct. 24 along with new Homer City Council Members Shelly Erickson and Tom Stroozas.

Daysha Eaton holds a B.A. from Evergreen State College, and a M.A. from the University of Southern California. Daysha got her start in radio at Seattle public radio stations, KPLU and KUOW. Before coming to KBBI, she was the News Director at KYUK in Bethel. She has also worked as the Southcentral Reporter for KSKA in Anchorage.
