KBBI's Kathleen Gustafson spoke with Andy Alexandreau, Public Information Officer with the AK Division of Forestry at noon today, Tuesday, for this update on the Caribou Lake Fire which is now estimated at 100 acres.

The latest from the North Fork Fire, six miles northwest of Homer is that a
Zigzag Hotshot crew of twenty from Oregon reported for duty this morning.
The hotshots join the twenty one member Chugachmiut’s Yukon Wildland
Fire Crew to lay firehose on the dozer line that encircles the fire.

There was no reported growth over night at the North Fork Fire. It is estimated to be 59 acres. KBBI will update information on the North Fork and Caribou Lake Fires as information is released.
