KBBI GM resigns to take on historical preservation job

Aaron Bolton, KBBI News

KBBI will soon be on the hunt for a new general manager. KBBI’s current GM, Terry Rensel, announced his resignation Wednesday during a staff meeting also attended by some members of KBBI’s Board of Directors.

Rensel is moving to Virginia to take a job in historic preservation. In a press release, KBBI said it was not specifically naming the organization as a courtesy because it had not yet announced its hiring decision.

Rensel will remain on the job until May 24. He originally came to KBBI as a program director in 2007 and became general manager in 2016.

KBBI is due to form a search committee to find Rensel’s replacement.
