John Cox running to restore PFDs and cut the budget in HD31 GOP primary

John Cox is one of three candidates running in the House District 31 Republican primary to face incumbent Paul Seaton. The Anchor Point business owner served in the Navy for 30 years, has sat on several local boards and is currently the commander of the Anchor Point VFW. He says his collective experience gives him the best chance to beat Seaton in the general election this fall.

Cox ran against Seaton in the 2016 Republican primary and against U.S. House Rep. Don Young in 2012 and 2014 Republican primaries. KBBI’s Aaron Bolton caught up with Cox to talk about his latest run for public office.

Primaries around the state will be held on Aug. 21.

Aaron Bolton has moved on to a new position in Montana; he is no longer KBBI News Director. KBBI is currently seeking a News Director, and Kathleen Gustafson is filling in for the time being.
