Do you have a minute to end domestic violence?

Green Dot Homer

Hi, this is Jesse Felice from Haven House with your Green Dot Minute.

Imagine a map where each time a red dot appears it represents a moment when words, choices or behaviors contribute to sexual assault, dating domestic violence, stalking, bullying, or abuse. Now, imagine  green dots appearing on that map.

Each Green Dot represents a moment when word choices and behaviors communicate intolerance of violence. A Green Dot is pulling your friend out of a high-risk situation, checking in on a colleague you are worried about, telling someone to back off .

A Green Dot is posting on social media that you want everyone to be safe.

A Green Dot is displaying an awareness poster in your office, contributing to the conversation using Green Dot social media or getting someone else to step in if you can't.

A Green Dot is simply your individual choice at any given moment to make our community safer.
