Principals at some of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District’s smallest schools are calling on the district to increase the number of teachers able to serve their students, and Salmonfest, the annual music festival that advocates for the protection of healthy salmon runs through music and educational resources, returned to the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds in Ninilchik over the weekend.
