Fishing is steadily improving in the southern Kenai Peninsula and lower Cook Inlet, according to a release from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game Thursday, and it’s taken 44 years but a hydroelectric project in Angoon finally has all of the funding, and most of the permits, to launch.
